Women's Ecumenical Retreat
An Ecumenical Women’s Retreat on Saturday, October 21, 2023, is being sponsored by the church community of Elk Rapids. Peg Arnold, an internationally known, inspirational speaker from the “Wonder of Women Ministry,” will use a unique blend of Biblical teachings, drama, and humor to encourage us to find our true value and purpose. The theme of the event is “Distracted Hearts, Devoted Hearts.” Evaluations from a similar retreat held in May of 2022 were excellent!
Fellowship begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program time being 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Fellowship Hall of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elk Rapids. A fee of $25 will include lunch. Grants are available: We are targeting young women, women who don’t have a church affiliation, and women who need financial assistance.
