Recovery is the most important part of your week, and with this 75-minute restorative yoga and meditation session, you are giving your body and soul what it needs to move into the week with a positive, relaxing attitude.
Join us for a wonderful relaxing restorative yoga practice with Peg. In restorative yoga the focus is not on stretching or strengthening but on releasing. We release tension in the muscles and gently stimulate the organs through long-held poses designed to support and comfort. This practice stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system which in turn can boost the body's immune system and accelerate a natural healing process.
We will use a variety of props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, sandbags, and eye pillows to offer maximum relaxation. You will want to have comfortable and warm closing as the body cools down when in deep relaxation.
This class will also be offered virtually so you can stay in the comfort of your home while enjoying the benefits of a guided practice.
