The Rotary Club of Elk Rapids will host Skegemog Raptor Center Director James Manley and his assistant Allye on Tuesday, May 16, at 6 p.m. at The HERTH for a presentation on local raptor rescue and rehabilitation to release. Students and their parents are most welcome. The program is open to the public and will be held at the Historic Elk Rapids Town Hall (HERTH), located at 401 River St., Elk Rapids, free of charge. Mr. Manley will be displaying a variety of live raptors, as well as raptor information of interest. For the safety of the birds, no dogs or other pets will be allowed in the hall with the exception of companion dogs. Donations at the door will be given to support Raptor Center operations.
