Volunteer Coffee Hour at Happy Camper Coffee
April 26 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am
Drop in at Happy Camper Coffee (212 River Street) in Elk Rapids between 8:30 and 10:30 am on April 26th to connect over a cup of coffee and chat about our volunteer opportunities. This event is open to current Paddle Antrim volunteers and those interested becoming a volunteer. We hope to see you there!
We are currently working to grow two of our core volunteer programs this year….
- Outreach/Event Ambassadors are core volunteers who help us engage and share information about Paddle Antrim and the Chain of Lakes Water Trail at various events in the community (e.g. Evenings on River Street in Elk Rapids) and meetings. These volunteers enjoy representing Paddle Antrim and talking about our mission and work.
- Safety paddlers are a core group of volunteers who help us ensure safety when out on the water for our events. We are excited to work with individuals to grow their skills and ultimately become certified through a new program. We encourage individuals who are interested in becoming a safety paddler to have taken at least one paddling class (with us or elsewhere).
