The Music House is proud to welcome back Detroit Tigers and Red Wings organist Dave
Calendine on July 20th 2024 at 7:00PM accompanying the 1927 Silent Film Casey at the Bat on
our Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ. Casey at the Bat is a 1927 American silent film, directed by
Monte Brice, written by Ernest Thayer and based on the 1888 baseball poem of the same name.
The picture stars Wallace Beery, Ford Sterling, ZaSu Pius and Sterling Holloway in his film debut.

Dave Calendine is an amazingly talented organist and pianist and a great entertainer. A resident
of Detroit, Dave is organist for the Tigers, one of two organists for The Detroit Red Wings, is the
house organist at The Fox Theater, has been one of the organist for the Radio City Christmas
Spectacular featuring the World Famous Rockettes, and has performed on several theatre organs throughout the world. Calendine is past President and current Treasurer of the American Theatre Organ Society and is on the Board of Trustees of the Musical Box Society International.
