The Music House Museum is very proud to welcome Interlochen pianist Hyemin Kim in concert, Saturday May 11 at 7:00 PM, presenting diverse piano solo music by Joseph Haydn, Robert Nathaniel Dett, Claude Debussy, and Robert Schumann.
A versatile performing artist and educator, Hyemin Kim serves as a Collaborative Pianist and teaches a secondary piano class at Interlochen Arts Academy. She made her debuts across the U.S. and Europe in major concert venues including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York, and Mozart Hall at Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna. She has won numerous international piano competitions, including at the Vienna International Piano Competition where she received a Schubert Special Award. Kim holds double Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) degrees in Piano Performance as well as in Collaborative Piano from Michigan State University; completed a Master of Music and Postgraduate Diploma from Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz, Austria; and a Bachelor of Music from Kookmin University, South Korea.
