Event Description:
An informal gathering to encourage conversations and interactions will be held on Thursday, September 26th, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Historic Elk Rapids Town Hall (HERTH) at 401 River Street, Elk Rapids.
Four new candidates are vying for 3 open Trustee positions, including Bernard Buzz Clauss, Elizabeth "Liz" DeLaRossa, Beth Guntzviller, and Ellen Vasquez. The newly elected officials will serve at-large for a 4-year term. Candidates for President's 2-year term include Tom Stephenson and incumbent Karen Simpson. All Village Council positions are non-partisan.
There is no charge to attend the Meet and Greet opportunity.
