Event Description:
Matt Herbert, Aquatic Ecologist with The Nature Conservancy will present the importance of freshwater reefs in GT Bay near Elk Rapids. In partnership with the MDNR and CMU, he has been studing this critical spawning reef complex for four years to develop and test restoration techniques to improve fish populations.
