The Music House Museum is proud to welcome Steve Stargardt, Nancy Stagnitta and Jack Dryden in concert Friday January 13 at 7:00PM, playing Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and other selections from The American Songbook.
Pianist Steve Stargardt has a wide range of musical experiences in his career. Steve has worked with most of the local jazz musicians in many different settings. He has arranged and directed the band for the TC Rotary show and the Elk Rapids Rotary Show and Old Town Playhouse Gala Fundraisers. Praised for her "brilliance and beauty of tone" by the Baltimore Sun, Powell Artist Nancy Stagnitta is a leading crossover artist as both classical flutist and jazz artist. Her passion, versatility, and elegant artistry have led to concert engagements in Africa, Europe, Asia, and across the U.S. Jack Dryden is a very in-demand bass player all over the state. He graduated from Berklee School of Music in Jazz Performance. Jack is very versatile in all styles of music. He plays with the Traverse City Symphony Jazz Orchestra and has played for years at the Chateau Chantal with Jeff Hass.
