SOLO EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY SHANNY BROOKE
Taking us on her emotional journey, painter Shanny Brooke explores the creative steps that emerge when processing the loss of a loved one.
Sometimes the emotions come quickly. Sometimes we only experience them after stripping away the narrative and re-exploring our relationships.
This selection of paintings is an intimate glimpse into this artist’s insightful journey towards healing as she allowed her canvas and paint to do the speaking for her – revealing that art continues to be her trusted voice.
“Parts of the Process” opens on Friday, June 16th with an artist’s reception from 6 to 8pm.
All are welcome to meet Ms. Brooke at this free event.
The exhibit will run in our Cottage Gallery through July 15th with viewings Tuesday – Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
