Art & Book Club at ER Library

This month, we’re excited to explore the vibrant world of Keith Haring, a beloved artist known for his bold, colorful artwork and energetic, playful figures. Haring’s art often features bright lines, dancing figures, and symbols that communicate important messages about society, love, and equality.

In our next Art Club session, we’ll start by reading an engaging story about Haring’s life and how his art became a voice for activism and change. We’ll learn about his famous street art, his love for using simple shapes, and how he used his artwork to express big ideas in a fun and accessible way.

After we learn all about Haring’s unique style, we’ll get creative ourselves by making art inspired by his colorful and exciting designs! Whether it’s drawing, painting, or creating with bold lines and bright colors, you’ll have the chance to create your own Keith Haring-inspired masterpiece.
