We could all use, spread & feel more peace. Join us for a Peace Stick making workshop Sunday, March 29th from 12 to 3:30pm.
Peace (or prayer) sticks are sacred objects used across various cultures, from indigenous American traditions (like Hopi, Navajo) to Ainu (Japan) & Christian practices - serving as physical anchors or messengers for prayers, offerings or intentions - often adorned with symbolic items like feathers, sacred herbs or carved designs. Peace sticks are used during meditation, rituals or family prayer time to focus the mind & connect with spirits or the divine.
Licensed Art Therapist, Barbara Greenwood returns to Twisted Fish this spring with creative outlets for those wanting to create with purpose with a community of friends. Guests will create their own peace sticks & process the experience with the group. We will also explore building a community peace stick for the Twisted Fish gardens. $55/guest includes light snacks and drinks. Guests can bring any personal items they'd like to incorporate into their work, but all supplies will be provided. Please phone the gallery to reserve your spot. #231 264 0123
