What to Expect at Playgroup
General Schedule • An hour of free play • Huddle time • Healthy snacks • An interactive story • Whole group music and/or physical activity • Closing circle
What Parents Can Expect • A safe, playful environment • A culture of parents helping parents • A free book • Parents leading activities cooperatively • Experiences with a variety of social skills for kids • To share feedback about the playgroups
Within the Huddle. . . • 5-10 minute Strengthening Families parent activity • Sharing of community resources • Parents generating ideas and sharing • Opportunities to meet community partners
Play group locations are subject to inclement weather cancellations. If the school is cancelled, play group will also be cancelled.
