Event Description:
The Home Builders Association of the Grand Traverse Area has partnered with members, local educators, and state and local organizations to address some of the issues that have contributed to the chronic labor shortage. The HBA Scholarship Dinner was developed to promote the building trades as a career choice, while raising funds for scholarships to support students who are pursing this path.
Jeremy Hendges, Director of the Talent and Economic Development in Lansing will address the role of apprenticeship programs as a tool to help meet the workforce needs within our community.
